Branksome Chine is a narrow beach of fine golden sand situated just to the east of Canford Cliffs near Poole.
Granted a Blue Flag Award for 2015, the southeast-facing beach is backed by a promenade and a small car park with spaces for 108 vehicles. An additional 352 spaces are available on Beach Road.
There is a Lifeguard cover at Branksome Chine between May 1st and September 30th. Facilities include a restaurant/café, beach shop, ice cream kiosk,deckchair and beach hut hire.
Great for families, Branksome Chine offers a safe swimzone as well as a wide selection of watersports. There is even a lost child patrol in season. Toilets are located in the car park.
To the east of the Beach Office a seasonal dog ban is in force. No dogs are permitted between 1st May and September 30th inclusive.

OS Explorer Map OL22: New Forest
This map is part of the Ordnance Survey's Explorer series designed to replace the old Pathfinder map series. At 1:25,000 scale this detailed map shows a host of attractions including gardens which are open to the public, nature reserves and country parks as well as all official footpaths, bridleways, roads and lanes.
